I missed the initial pop-up message that said I didn't have room so all I saw was 'installation stopped'. Note: The version of the console software available here is from 12 December, 2013.I missed the initial pop-up message that said I didn't have room so all I saw was 'installation stopped'. Maybe a dumb question, but how full is your hard drive? So hopefully these issues are fixed for now but I don't see what stopping them from happening again in the future. Once the original install is completed, turn your internet back on and get on xbox live. NOW, since the game is already installed, the update SHOULD download with no issues. The only time I got the same message was when I didn't have enough room to finish downloading an update and install the game. When you FIRST attempt to install a game from a disc, disconnect from the internet completely. If the game isn't installed first (offline), the game AND the update will install simultaneously...which slows everything down..will take forever. Every once in a while a game will show up as needing to install with like 99 % and the only way you can finish installing is put in the disc and then finish it.Many developers are offering Xbox 360 to Xbox One Game Upgrades, including transferring DLC season passes or subscriptions for a limited time or a small fee.
In either version, you get firmware updates for your hardware to increase performance or update certain software features.
